Weekend Viewings Increase

Chard London estate and lettings agents are working flat out with weekend appointments for both buyers and tenants.

Partly this is seasonal. The clocks going back means that evening inspections after work are very likely going to be after dark - never the best time to properly appraise a new home. Many weekend viewings are for a second inspection following a mid-week evening appointment, and this is showing up in the increased numbers of offers being received on Saturdays.

Another factor is that prospective tenants and buyers feel less able to "slip out early" to view properties for sale and to rent during the week, in the current employment market that's just not going to be a good career move.
