Commercial Property Rents Make London More Affordable Than Paris
A Straits Times report on the London property market claims that London office space is now cheaper than Paris.
According to the report, rents in the City have fallen by 38% over the past twelve months in euro terms, with an even sharper fall in the West End.
Geese and Golden Eggs......As London becomes a more affordable place (as well as a city with helpful and friendly cab drivers - take note Paris) to do business we hope that the government will recognise the importance of attracting international businesses to London - and not take any actions to deter investors. It was after all the revenue generated by the square mile that allowed the government it's unprecedented public spending binge in recent years.

I'm impressed by the way you publish rental statistics so openly here -- in the same vein, would it be possible to publish your contract for landlords? Unfortunately there isn't a Chard in my area of London but it would be a great benchmark against other agent's contracts.
