Thoughts on HIPs

HIPs might not be a bad thing if they were commissioned by the solicitor - it would speed up the process as they then could produce a pack that would actually be useful to a buyer which would include a search, management accounts etc. The solicitor would be instructed at the as time we are.

The major problem with HiPs as they are that they just add another company into the mix and the information is virtually duplicated by the solicitor once the property is under offer for sale.
