No Junk Mail Please!

Chard's Kensington estate agents office in Notting Hill Gate W11 having just agreed the sale of a substantial family house in Kensington W8, still has several buyers looking for houses to rent in Kensington with budgets up to £15M.

Our marketing team therefore prepared a mail drop and asked a couple of negotiators to forego their gym training and use the time to get some fresh air and exercise instead - delivering the letters to candidate houses in prime areas of Kensington.

One likely looking house had a "no junk mail" sticker. Against company policy he decided that a brief letter informing this particular homeowner that we have two buyers with £15M burning a hole in their pockets for a family house wasn't actually junk. Hmmmmm.

The letter was delivered. Ten minutes later the phone rang back in the office. The owner started by mentionning that there was a "no junk mail sign", ready for a tirade, the manager took the call. The property owner was in fact pleased to have received the letter - we're valuing the house tomorrow and have already spoken to the buyers to prepare them for a potential new viewing of a very suitable looking house over the weekend.
