Private Sales - Why Pay An Estate Agent?

A year or so back our Notting Hill & Kensington sales office valued a two bedroom flat in Chepstow Road, Notting Hill for sale.

The vendor decided to try and sell privately, advertising on portals. There was some interest from one or two buyers but no offers.

The vendor came into see us with keys on Friday and our team of negotiators hit the phones to generate interest. By Monday morning, following numerous viewings over the weekend and Monday, we'd agreed the sale of the flat for her to a city banker with the promise of a two week exchange.

We spend hundreds of thousands of pounds generating interest for our buyers. Whilst we're conscious that no-one likes to spend money, we're here to sell for our clients!
