Higher end property to let in Notting Hill moving well
We’re really busy with enquiries for smaller, affordable properties, and stock levels of smaller one and two bedroom flats to let in Kensington and Notting Hill are very limited. The upper end of the rental market is active too. We’ve just let a substantial and traditional Notting Hill family house to corporate tenants on Kensington Park Road, off Notting Hill Gate W11, asking £3750 per week. The landlord had considered selling, but instead opted to let.
Also this week we’ve let a two bedroom flat in Burnham Court, Moscow Road, W2 asking £950 per week.
As ever, property to let in the area that “ticks all the boxes” is letting well, but he market in between is patchy. There’s more stock, but not all of it high quality. We’re seeing flats to let coming in from the sales market that aren’t up always up to scratch for the corporate London rentals market. Tenants will often try lower offers on these, hoping to bag a bargain. More often than not, landlords are holding out for more.
