French Lycee in Clancarty Road, Fulham fuels demand for family houses to rent in Fulham

The Lycee Francaise Charles de Gaulle's imminent opening of a junior school in Clancarty Road, Fulham is already stoking interest from tenants with families looking to rent in London, and Fulham in particular.

Our Fulham lettings office is already fielding enquiries from French families already living in London or relocating to London who now consider the area to be "de rigueur" for a home to rent, with an offer already on the table for a nearby family house from June 2008, for one family whose daughter will be attending the school, which opens in September 2008.

We understand that the school, whose main campus is in South Kensington is already over-subscribed. The renowned Lycee, ranked 15th in the 2008 Financial Times' schools league table, has long been the preferred choice for the children of francophone expatriates living in London. Madonna's daughter, Lourdes, is also one of it's most famous celebrity alumni.
